A copy of a specific part of the ceiling ventilation in one of the rooms in Galleri KiT. I placed my copy on the floor below the original to give the impression that the ventilation had been cloned and dragged down. Through that, I reinforced its previously existing qualities while at the same time creating a spatial intervention. The copy blocked the passage in the room and guaranteed a new physical perception of the space. To get to the other side the viewer had to leave the room and go back in through the door on the other side. By doing that I managed to change the perception of the room by just moving an object and my intention was to achieve a spatial and physical reflection in the viewer.

The copy was built in wood and MDF instead of metal, like the original, because I wasn’t trying to simulate its function, I was more interested in its physical presence.
